Pro Tools 10, UCX, iLok, & Ext HD with 2 USB Ports

I just purchased PT 10 and installed on an older Macbook 5. I did upgrade to OSX to 10.6.8.

I haven't bought either one yet. If I knew for sure the preamps and converters are the same then I would get the UCX for price and portability.

The only drive in the boot sequence is my one HD. I guess the next thing to do is recheck all the cables or I may move it to another slot on the MB.
