If I should buy the LE to 10 crossgrade NOW, am I eligible for the PT11 amnesty/grace upgrade?

Update: More specifically (as it appears to be in my sessions anyway), it are the clips from the deleted unused playlists that aren't selected.

ProTools sometimes won't select the unused clips in the clip bin.
VERY annoying when cleaning up you're session(s).

Workaround:
1) Create new track
2) Delete the newly created track

That's because it IS saved with the session :)
You probably saved that session while your setting was 128/4, but now you're using 96/3 on some other stuff, right?

Or am I completely missing it?...

I did recently, but you need to use the workaround (it's in the manual) to get protools to recognize the midi-out from the plug-in. It's fairly easy, so no worries ;)

Or just zero-start all the tracks (consolidate them, so they all have the same start-point), export them as WAV-files (or other desired format), and import them in Logic.

Yeah, that does look tempting.

It all depends on how you track your music imo.
If you track everything "dry" and get your "true" sound(s) afterwards (in the mix),
you might aswell go completely...

Little "workaround" -> just show/hide ANY track and the ones that are supposed to be hidden/shown will (dis)appear.

Oh yes, very true! Not saying it would be a bad thing :)
Just saying that it wouldn't work the same as audio (one continues file that's recorded) because midi is relative to the the timeline.

Makes sense tho, cause midi is recorded in ticks (unlike audio, which is samples) so it's relative to the timeline.

If you loop record, I guess you would be merging midi over the already recorded...
