Also in reading the reference material, negative track delay when the sample starts, is the only way to get the tracks to be on the grid with a click track. You need this.

Hello, Expression Maps does not exist in Pro Tools. Separate tracks is your only option. You have 2 chooses, learn how to use separate tracks or use a DAW that has Expression Map capability.

Problem solved. Attached a owc dock to the mac studio. The addition of ports is nice and the mac studio does not have to think what is hooked to it :-)

Thanks for the info. I believe a Thunderbolt 3 or 4 Dock is on the way to get more variety of ports and a 4 space Thunderbolt cage to hold the SSD drives.

Do you mean osx 12.5.1? Or firmware for drives?

UPDATE: The OWC case even ejected the drives on cheesegrater Mojave, when formatting an SSD in a singles case. Cheesegrater has a USB 3.0 card...

Usually Avid will not test, above in your case High Sierra, once they move on. Most people will stretch an OS X above like to Mojave. But you might be out of luck trying Monterey with a 4 year build...

I echo the question, I am interested in what plugins you are seeing, that are interesting to you but not in AAX format? Are they EQ, compressor types or Virtual Instrument synths?
