Hi!

Uninstall PT and remove all drivers (and files) used by midisport. Do a fresh install of PT and then install the latest drivers to the midisport. Itīs important that you remove ALL files used...

Direct Connect is available for Mac but not for PC. Thatīs the difference..

If you have a motherboard that is too old, it might not support large hd:s. Check the manual for your mobo or/and search the web for info about your mobo.

I had the same problem with my wireless mouse/keyboard. I removed the logitech driver and use windows standard driver for mouse and keyboard instead. No more problems : )

I donīt think itīs a heatproblem in my case because it use to work before. I think isīt something with Pt LE 5.1.1 or related to the fact that I upgraded the software.

ok, hereīs my irq-settings. Itīs in swedish but you might get the idea anyway.

What do you mean by harddrive configuration??
All I know is that the dma is enabled on both my drives.

Well, back again. I disabled my network-card but the problem is still there. As soon as Iīm using midi, the pci-bus gets busy.

So, the question still remains:
What is wrong and how do I fix it??...

Well.. my digi001 and the network card is sharing irq. iīll change it later.
It might be the problem but as I said earlier; its wierd that the problem just occured "over night", without any changes...

Well. It used to work with the network card enabled. it would be wierd if that would fix it now. but I guess I can try and see what happens..

After I upgraded to PT LE 5.1.1 Iīm having problems with my MIDIMAN Midisport 2X2 USB.
I canīt use midi at all because Iīm getting the "PCI-bus Busy"-errormessage. I havnīt changed any hardware or...
