Maybe I'm missing something, but what's "next-gen" about it?
Seems like the next incremental update they have every 3-4 months, no?

Title made me think it's a whole new audio engine/UI.

I need to renew my "Software Updates + Support Plan" for PT Ultimate next week.

Is there any grace period if I let it lapse or even 1 second after midnight the option to extend the plan is forever...

Yeah, nothing major. If we ignore the Artist/Studio/Flex fluff, it's just small tweaks and bug fixes.

Nothing wrong with that, it's great you officially support Windows 11 now.

Edit: Just updating for future readers, after talking to Avid I found out that I can upgrade to 12 HD using the CPTK. (The $999 upgrade package).

Currently using Pro Tools 10 and "Complete Production Toolkit" for the "HD" features, connected to a USB based device.

I want to upgrade to Pro Tools 12 HD*, but not sure if I the CPTK...

12.7.0 was very stable on my Windows 10 machine (with only 8GB RAM), and 12.7.1 feels the same if a bit better. If you jumped to 12.7, you might as well go straight to 12.7.1

The Info page is not clear about 10.8.X, it says that "Mac OS X 10.9 (PT 11.0.3 or higher) or 10.9.1 (PT 11.1.2 or higher) Mavericks support only", but doesn't mention specifically end of support for...
