make sure Time Machine is off. It causes me errors quite often, until I go into System Preferences and turn it off.

Question installation problem...

I downloaded 10.0 .dmg for the mac and tried to install. After unzipping, ol' compy said the files were corrupt. I tried re-downloading and I got the same message. Any ideas, thoughts, answers?...

Question LE 8.0 Installer crashes

Hey folks! Here I am trying to upgrade to 8.0 off the DVD and every time I launch the Installer, it crashes. Anybody got any ideas why this is happening? I'm running an Intel iMac 2.16GHz on 10.5.8....

I think I'd rather use the pre's of the 003R+ rather than the Mackie. If you must fold back into the Mackie, then fine. I'd try to avoid it if I didn't need it.

The MBox should be connected directly to the computer, not thru the keyboard or a hub. Did you try a restart? How about the general troubleshooting sticky at the top of this thread?

Thanks Slim, I tried that earlier this morning and no luck. I'll try again later. Right now I got it working by copying the session to a different drive using the "Save Copy As" option.

Ok, I tried the suggestions of moving the 002R to the front 400 bus, and swapping the FW800 out for FW400 and moving it to the backside FW bus. It actually got worse.
