Thanks folks.. now if I can get my 003 running for longer than 45 minutes.. we should be in business.

Damn digi003 might have cost me a client tonight. I'm fuming over this upgrade.

I've got the same problem. I've got a friend with a home studio down the street who ALSO has the same problem. Both are 003. Both are using qualified Avid PCs....

Interestingly enough... if i do let the system boot w/o the 003 and then I try to power it up afterwards... Reason , NI FM7 and other ASIO supported applications completely fail to access the 003.

The good news.. it works for the digi003.

The bad news.. it won't see my digi003 and harddrive at the same time.

Albee.. I appreciate the response.. I think my venting has confused the issue.

The Digi003 connects to the system fine. There are no problems loading the driver. The driver and the digi003 work...

Now.. what it does is it will BSOD the first time I attempt to create a new session(doesn't matter if it's a template, opening an existing session or trying to use a blank session.. so...
