AVID Application manager worst software ever?

The Avid application manager app is the worst. It made my computer take 20 mins to boot, it gives me the spinning beach ball of doom, it crashes. Can I just simply eliminate it from my hard drive?

PT 11 Offline Bounce and 64bit both very good
PT 12 Track Freeze and commit excellent. Also able to run a lot more plugins due to 64 bit. Cloud collaboration? Ehhhhhh.

Believe it or not, putting it in the freezer is a known temporary fix for the ilok. I discovered it on the internet of all places.

After purchasing another Ilok 2 and then de-installing and re-installing drivers and freezing the ilok and gingerly sliding it into the USB connector with no luck I just jammed something into the USB...

In Safari I keep getting a fatal error, had to switch to Chrome to get it work.
