Yes pretty much any interface will work with PT 10, I am using a third party interface. You do need Windows 7 for it to run efficiently also.

Are you talking about the Maxim limiter in pro tools. I have had it clip before, if there is any clipping in the channels that are going to the master.

Does it say anything when it stalls and fails installation? Try right click on the install file and run as administrator.

I have Windows 64 bit with pro tools mp8 along with a fast track ultra 8r, and it is working great. Be sure to optimize your computer so pro tools can run the smoothest.

For some reason there is no clip indication showing in pro tools. The red bar at the top doesn't show up when the signal is actually clipping in pro tools. It shows the signal clipping in the m-audio...
