Oh & another thing, when i have the mbox plugged in & i open my system prefs & navigate to the mbox pref it tells me that it is unable to detect the mbox..

I have tried that numerous times, selecting various options from pt aggregate to mbox mini etc.. None of them works. On opening PT besides the assertion error when i try holding down N & selecting...

yeh but this is a brand new installation & it happened on opening the very first time.
It also happened exactly the same way on a brand new installation of 10.3.3 which i then tried trashing...

However the installation failed (was unsuccessful)..

No it wasnt, so far as i can tell i have treid everything in this thread, but for uninstalling & reinstalling.. which i think i will do now hey since it seems the only option left.

- i have tried repair disk permissions.
- the mbox mini 2 driver i used was 10.3.3 (Apr 12, 2013)
- & i did delete the database & preferences correctly except for the file...
