Sending MIDI from EuCon Devices

Is is somehow possible to send MIDI commands from EuCon devices?
I would love to be able to control a mute function on a device that only reacts to MIDI but not EuCon.

Any ideas?

Okay, so I cloned my Catalina install and upgraded to Monterey yesterday.
Initial tests suggest that everything is working (after I upgraded the RME driver) and it does seem snappier than Bug, Sir....

Pro Tools was basically unusable after the upgrade to Bug, Sir.
I rolled back to Catalina and will probably stay there with my 2018 mini until I eventually move to Apple...
