Oh great - shorter than I thought (a little less than the depth of the artist mix). Sweetwater shows the depth to be 14.9", so the doc is 7" by itself?

Was this ever fixed? It still happens to me in Logic 10.7, even when I have the Eucon preferences "Open windows on workstation when editing" setting to OFF.

Does anybody know the depth of the S1 up until the dock (so not including the depth of the dock)? Right where the dock starts to angle upwards. Cheers.

Thanks - based on this I went ahead and got a used Artist Mix and honestly, this is still the best cross-DAW controller out there IMO. It is the best controller for Cubase since Eucon is much better...

Based on the fact that EuCon software is still getting updated and should work with Artist Mix for the foreseeable future (since there's no hardware changes needed), would it still be a good option...

Has anybody come across this issue in PT 2020 - I load the Maschine or Komplete Kontrol software on an instrument track, but my controllers don't seem to register it / can't interact with it...

It's out now. Very similar philosophy to Pro Tools (developed by ex-Avid guys so no surprise). Could be an actual PT alternative (same workflow, same key commands) unlike Studio One, etc.

Personally, MIDI improvements (that I listed in another thread) are critically needed (if Avid wants pro tools to be considered as a production and composing DAW).

Ok, I'll play:

- Ability to view MIDI note names on the notes themselves (makes orchestration much faster IMO)
- Articulation support
- Faster quantizing / make legato / velocity compression...

While I agree with some of your points, it sounds like you want PT to be Studio One...in which case why not just use S1? I also have S1 and it is awesome.

I have never seen logic "make up tempo" - do you have an example? Logic X has gotten very good for audio in recent years. Unfortunately, Pro Tools has not gotten very good for MIDI.

Sadly, the chances that Avid will fix most of these is pretty low I fear or if they do, it will take a very long time given their historical pace.

Actually the MIDI does suck compared to Logic (and most certainly Cubase). Avid has made some improvements last year but still a ways to go.

ARA support (or built in pitch) would be nice. As would...
