Does D-Control Need Fader Pack to work?

Anyone know if a D-Control Main Unit will run by itself or does a D-Control console need at least one fader pack to work?

S5-MC Power Supply Needed

Anyone have a line on a S5-MC power supply? Last time I checked with Avid they said they didn't have one for sale. Mine went bad and having a hard time finding a replacement.

I know it's a 64 Ch. interface but will Pro Tools let all 64 channels work without using the DigiLink ports requiring having an HDX card or a HD Native Card/Thunderbolt?
