I crossgraded and TL space remained and works just fine in PT 9. Had the ilok asset (got it with PT LE + DV kit 2), still have the ilok asset and did not have to even reinstall it - just is there...

No problem. I carry around a copy of my accumulated IR folder and usually just drop it in the right place on in the app support folder when I am on a different system. Works great and much easier...

Search out the appropriate downloads from Avid's site and install. You should have the iLok still - then you are good to go.
