Neale. You are correct. If Link Track and Edit Selection is disabled and you try to throw a selected track into input mode, the selected track will NOT go into input mode unless the curser is parked...

Create the Video Files folder within the session folder and Pro Tools will automatically find the video on either system as long as the video is in that folder.

Just duplicate any track in the routing folder when you need more tracks. Any bussing will be retained in the duplicate track and you can duplicate without the media.

Rick, when you say start again do you mean from scratch? Recording the 100 tapes again? If so, that’s not necessary as long as the Pro Tools recordings exist.

You can, it’s just not a direct path.

Set your audition path in pro tools to something other than your monitor outputs. Say outputs 7&8 if you’re not using them.

Physical patch those outputs...

As you've experienced, it will work fine. However, you will not get some of the feature available until you update to Pro Tools 2022.4.

The fix is to install the latest version of EuControl 2022.4 if your tablets have already updated. Turn off auto update on your tables.

So what's the best way to run Pro Tools with these i9 or i7 MBP? I've been disabling Turbo Boost on my 2015 MBP i7 and still continue to get playback errors.
