Someone else might chime in with an answer. If all else fails, trash your preferences and that will reset all the PT...

That’s Bars & Beats you’re showing. Why it’s double the height… I do not know.

Just hide it from view. Click on the little drop down menu box on the left of where it says Bars & Beats and you can...
