I don't see that. Clicking the downward arrow I see an option "Open Latest Auto-Backup" but that doesn't help to import session data.

Yes this is a good workaround.
But imagine in my case I have a live show with around 20 video files. I have to note down 20 time codes. It would be AWESOME to be able to automate this process!

I want to import a video file inside a Pro Tools session but make sure the video starts at the correct Time Code. I thought that by using Spot it should read the original Time Code of the video file...

Ok, finally found it. XPand doesn't have a separate installer.
It is included inside "Avid_Virtual_Instruments_10_3_Installer_77520.dmg".

I haven't really noticed when this strange behaviour started but I am pretty sure that I didn't have this problem with Pro Tools 10, maybe not even 11.
