I just ran Avid Link and upgraded PT to 2022.4 and both of these were shown as available to install through Avid Link. So I've got them now.



Now, time to play and try things out and see. ...

I have the licenses in my iLok account. But, I don't see them in my Avid account to download. How do I actually get them? Are they part of the 2022.4 upgrade? This isn't clear.

That's very true. But, for some, who may not have huge arsenal yet, stuff like this is a good way to build. But, as I said, AIR hasn't been getting high marks from me in terms of paying attention...

I've been using AVG and Malawarebytes for a long time without any issues I'm aware of. I've also used Acronis True Image and still have that.


Does AVID have recommended optimizations for Win-11?

Well, the place where I'm having it built does have the Samsungs but not the WDs. I guess either will do. EGS suggested using the M.2. And I'll go with 64gig as suggested.
