I started getting a lot of video engine errors, it would stop, crash with unrecoverable error...had to restart the system in order for my BM...

I am seeing exactly the same problem. tried so many times to push it to user default but it always get back to the factory, empty setting. Definitely a bug and very shamefull on new V release.

Found the solution:

I had beautiful custom knob that was replacing original Dock's monitor knob. That is not possible anymore with this version of Eucon!!!

yes, this has been resolved thru Avid customer help.

First what I see is that you are using old version of DADman sw. Current is 5.4.4.2

Maybe also the firmware of your MTRX...

I have HDX2 and use DAPS. One thing that might help a bit is to use 7.1 paths instead of 7.1.2.
I am sure you are not using .2 in this paths and for Strauts 3D, Symphony 3D or Cinematic verbs you...
