Thanks for your response. I get that I want to run HDX as primary interface.
I have the HDX set to internal sync and the Eleven rack to SPDIF with matching sample rates for both units....

Pt9 is a 32 bit application; your numbers are correct, 4 gig can be the largest session, but you will likely see issues around 2.5 gigs, 64 bit won't help.... open activity monitor and see how big...

Here is one that helped me: use a de esser on the bass. This comes from waves and using their de esser and listening to the buzz thru the de esser key you will have no issues dialing the fret buzz...

Yes, there can be elastic audio issues w/ PT 9 iles or earlier coming into PT10.

Avid outlined this in the release notesfor PT 10 , if I recall correctly. I am working on an HD2 system w/ PT 10...

I would say stick with groove3.com, but, look at the previous tutorials on ProTools. The PT10 tutorial is great, but search back a bit on the groove3 site and you will find the basics that you are...

Be it known, that in PT10 running on HD tdm blue hardware does not record 32 bit files, but it records 24 bit files and play it through the 32 bit engine...
