Video satellite uses satellite link to function that is the point he is making. Also "better than 9 pin" is referring to scrubbing and shuttling not regular playback.

Yes we did it years ago also. Provided everything is set up correctly then its sample accurate. We moved to just using a pro tools system in recent years as it was overkill to be using a full media...

Just FYI. When you are in grid mode if you hold command you can move clips just like in slip mode. So no need to change modes. May or may not be useful to you

I'm not sure what other detail I could provide to make it any clearer? There is a fade on a clip. Previously you could select a portion of that fade and hit delete and the fade would change to that...

I believe that is because your front and rear panners are not linked. So your front is set to 25 right but your rear is at 0.

I hadn't encountered this issue as I do this all the time so I went through my process and I realise that I am using special copy -all automation and then special paste -repeat to fill....

Yes I noticed this as well. It works if you import tracks and do the sample rate conversion and also if you use the custom option and manually enter the sample rate.
