Having the same problem here. I know it's legacy hardware but considering the last few drivers have all been unusable, I really do hope a quick fix can be done so that it doesn't take up a whole CPU...

This exactly. Give the time horizon of release, the upgrade from 9 to 10 was particularly distasteful after I had upgraded from 8 to 9.

Thanks man, this is completely unmixed at present though :P. We're tracking the vocals and bass tomorrow, will put up a proper mix once done, but I am quite happy with the guitar tones at the moment...

To be honest, I LOVED the 11R reverb. The cleans were quite nice as well. I don't doubt it could have gotten close. I used a ducking reverb though, so the reverb mix increases as the input decreses....

The locking up, I believe, may have been linked to a documents bug with high-traffic MIDI data when then Axe FX is not connected to USB and is set to pass MIDI over USB. Switching that off fixed the...

You can plug in the Axe FX just the same as you can plug in ANY line-level output or digital output.

Since you are running in ASIO mode, I assume you are running it in Windows. Unfortunately, unless you have another soundcard or are using ASIO4All, this precludes you from running it in standalone...

If you are getting lots of latency in standalone mode, most likely you have selected a non-ASIO driver? Might be worth a double check. I tried to run it in an wrapper, which crashed ProTools......
