Re: PT24/NT and Line6 AmpFarm

Re: Amp Farm graphics problem
We've been betatesting AF and have seen this. When you first open AF, it defaults to the Bassman. If you choose different amps (usually the AC30), you will start to...

Re: SINC PT24MP AND CAKEWALK USING WIN NT

Well, the way I do it is to run PT on one machine and Cakewalk on another. Either feed SMPTE to both, or MTC from PT to Cakewalk. If you're just using one machine, try Sonic Foundry's Virtual MIDI...

Hi Frank,

I've got a SB and MIDIMan 4x4S MIDI interface co-existing peacefully in my machine. PT hardware is pretty good about sharing IRQs and pretty transparent about it, too...

Re: Midi problems with PT/NT 4.2.5 and Cakewalk 6.01

Dan,

This is just what I was experiencing...only Digi apps gave me problems and there was definitely no IRQ conflict. However, installing those drivers did fix my problems. I was sure that the...

Re: Midi problems with PT/NT 4.2.5 and Cakewalk 6.01

Re: Service Pack 4 Compatibility?

From what I hear, SP4 isn't compatible with much of anything, including NT!! Reports of bugs and install probs have made me just ignore SP4, plus as far as I know, Digi doesn't support it....

Re: FAT16

Don't know if you've heard, but NT/SP4 seems to be a real mess. What I've read and heard is that install is a nightmare and a lot of stuff in it doesn't work correctly. I'd hold off on SP4 until...

Re: Must be IBM, or name brand?

I can assure you that you don't need a name brand machine...you MIGHT be better off without one! We're using a machine I built, based on a SuperMicro P6SLS mobo (AMI BIOS). All SCSI, no IDE. The...
