This could go into the Settings/ Preferences window where people can choose how they want the "select assignments to" left-click to work.

In my case, I just need it to "Select the track" and do...

This won't work because some people hide tracks that are Active (and need to remain active), so it means the all the hidden tracks will still Jump out from hidden and destroy the layout of the...

A possible solution could be to give 3 options when you Left-Click on inputs, outputs and sends:

1) Select Tracks (select assignments to)
2) Select & Show Tracks (select & show assignments to)...

Hi all, I would like to talk about bug PT-263050 in Pro Tools

When selecting a tracks input/output to "select assignments to" ,
instead of selecting the tracks, a glitch keeps showing the hidden...

Does anyone know how to restore the "Select Assignment to" so that it only selects the tracks without showing the hidden ones?
