Eucon was stable for me with 10.8, but after installing a new SSD with OS 10.9, PT 11.1 and Eucon 3.1 it is very unstable.

Hopefully AVID is on top of this.

I have never had this much trouble...

I agree it is probably a bug in the software, but remember as they continue to add more features to this program it is going to continue to tax cpu resources...
They are able to get away with this...

Ok...
Here is what I did to solve my problem..I had PT 8 then upgraded to PT 9 then upgraded to PT 10. It was time for a fresh install..
Backed up the drive
Erased the drive
Installed OS 10.7...

I ran Techtool Pro and checked the computer hardware and it passed. What I don't understand is why the previous (PT 9) files will open and work, but the PT 10 files won't and...if I save the PT 9...

Is the CPU(RTAS) percentage usage limited to 3gig of RAM on the computer?
I have 12 gigs installed, but from what I have read here I dont think I can use anymore RAM on PT9.01 unless I step up to...

I have installed Fxpansion VST to RTAS Adapter 2.
Followed the directions scanning all of the default folders for VST plugins. Changed the VST plugin to "yes" that I had installed on the computer...

I have Pro Tools 9.01 and the 003R.
I want to know if I can record into Pro Tools 9 via usb from my Roland VG 99?

If not I can setup SPDIF, but I am recording my sessions at 48k and the VG 99...

would disabling the rtas plugins help? i also have ATA. I currently have them on every track, but keep them disabled.

holy crap! it was UAD multiband compressor looking ahead. Once I bypassed it the delay disappeared.
I hate it when I shoot myself in the foot.

Well it is more than just midi. It is also audio inputs as well. I am looking into it more on my end...if anyone has some input on this i would appreciate it.

I will try that. I do have my m audio axiom 61 pro controller and roland td 12 connected with the instrument input set to "all" so I can trigger notes from either without having to change the input....

I cant seem to get "Wait For Note" to function in any of my PT8.03 sessions.
I record enable the track(s)
Enable the "Wait For Note" button in the transport window
The record button and play...

This is NOT checked. If so what else could be causing this?

CPU usage problems

I have the following....
PT 8.01 / 003R
2009 Mac Pro Octo with 10.6
12 Gigs RAM
Session size (24 tracks) with approximately 3 RTAS Altiverb plugins (everything else is UAD Quad 2.0).
