I am having (slightly predictable) problems. I have upgraded from Tiger to Leopard (10.5.5 Combo update) and from PT 7.1 to 8.0 at the same time
PT (8.0) will not start because it is unable to...

Never had this problem before..prob missing something v simple..On all my plug-ins when clicking on the 'library' button, I can only select <factory default> I'm not allowed to select any other...

using ADAT bridge with legacy port 96 interface

Has anyone successfully used a 24bit ADAT bridge using the legacy port on an HD system..I just cant get mine to work..I'm using a 96i/o (works fine) and trying to get an additional 8 channels of ADAT...

I am basically a Logic User who has been using it as a front end of a TDM system..However I've got fed up of the MIDI problems ive had with my direct TDM instruments..Im considering switching to PT...

How to run mac audio out through my Digi interface

Rather dull question I'm afraid but I've never worked this out....When boot up Mac can run the mac's audio out though my Digi HD card - it appears as an option in the 'sound' part of system...

just started using OS X (10.3.5) on a G4 Mac (450 x 2) with 750 Meg RAM and Pro-tools 6.4.1 with a Mix Plus system.. It works for a while then starts to give me DAE error -1 and the DAE will not...

Need another Mac PCI slot!

I'm using Mix Plus with a SCSI card in a 3 slot G4 and obviously have no slots left! What is the best (and cheapest) way of providing a 4th slot if I wanted to buy a new Mix Farm card for extra DSP....

I now understand that both OMS and the built in midi drivers both need to be switched on and that you use the plug-in on an aux. track
what I don't get is...

hardware setup preferences with Logic (again)

this should be easy but it doesn't seem to be. I have been previously told on here that the way to get Logic to automatically revert to a saved hardware setup, is to trash the 'digisetup' preference...
