Re: PT 11 won't recognize ASIO RME Babyface, works in PT 10

19 frets,

I read your latest post a couple of times, and it gave me an idea that caused my PT 11 app to start working. All I did to make it load properly was to uninstall the driver of my old...

Re: PT 11 won't recognize ASIO RME Babyface, works in PT 10

I'm on PT 11.0.1 as well, as I just downloaded it for the first time a day or two ago. I'm still running 10.3.6 with the exact same setup for 8+ hours a day with no errors at all.

Re: PT 11 won't recognize ASIO RME Babyface, works in PT 10

I've actually tried this set a number of different ways - as the Babyface set as default, as you suggested with the internal soundcard as system default, with my computer's digital output set as...

Yeah, this is my thinking as well. Definitely let us know what happens with that fresh hard drive!

Re: PT 11 won't recognize ASIO RME Babyface, works in PT 10

Ah, I forgot to mention that it won't let me hold down "N" and get into the setup menu either.

My Babyface registers properly with the PC, and is how I've been running PT10/Ableton/etc. for the...

Re: Digi 002 or ProjectMix IO?

Output-wise, though - the PM has only four (1/4") vs the 002's ten. And after checking around, i can get a 002 off of ebay for about $1200, putting it only about $200 over the amount i was looking at...

ProjectMix IO and FireWire 410 for outputs...

I'm considering purchasing either a Projectmix or a 002, and i'm leaning towards the projectmix. One thing kind of irks me, though - the ProjectMix only has 4 outputs (1/4") compared to the 002's 10....
