Yes, MIDI beat clock. I can't believe there isn't a way....anybody? Even ancient MIDI devices commonly support this. I suppose it's Avid's way of trying to lock you into the Pro Tools universe.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not talking about digital sync for audio...I already have SPDIF setup and clocked from my RME Fireface 800 working perfectly.

Wierd XP Pro Boot Problem on new Machine

hi guys.

I just built a PC from scratch and am having a weird problem.

First, the specs on the machine:

Athlon XP2500

i actually have been running 6.1 since it came out, however TCE is not nearly as flexible for putting tracks together on the fly as acid is....i'll give it another...

i use the onboard audio on my asus 333 and have it's outputs running to the alternate inputs on my 002. works great for many situations and i've haven't had any problems.

Sample Tank Hang work around???

I'm talking about when you load a session and it hangs on sample tank and never loads. I have a pretty important project that needs to be finished by this weekend and I can't get into the session...

Waves Plugs show up twice in Plug Ins Menu

My Waves Plugs that came with the 002 show up twice in my Plug Ins Menu. Does anybody know why this is, or how i could fix it?

one simple thing to check:

sample tank is only a stereo (ie multichannel) plug in. if you try to open it on a mono track it won't show up in the list....
