Why have you had to do a "clean uninstall" of Pro Tools? Especially on a Mac... this should not be needed. And how exactly have you done this?

Oh heck yes. Shedding should be included. Everything you run the tape the signal degrades. Going to cut down on folks wasting lots of time tweaking and tweaking and tweaking stuff in Pro Tools.

Those not retained are the Avid Complete Plugin Bundle (you can look what is in that bundle online on Avid's web site) and any new ones that are named/described as being included in subscriptions.

Nope (now you made me check). The Helix do multiple sample rates. OTOH Fractal and Kempler are stuck at 48 kHz. (Why my Fractal hangs on the other side of a sample rate conversion box).
