I use Logic with the 001 for most of my work, and apart from the well documented random rebooting issue that a lot of 001/Logic users seem to experience, it's great.

Great news! Do you have the 8500 or 8500LE? The LE runs a bit slower but is quite a bit cheaper at £130 in the UK vs £180 for the 'full blown' 8500.
