Can anyone save me a few thousand keystrokes?

I'm recording voice prompts for an IVR system. That is one of those computers you call "press 1 to do this, press 2 to do that" There are close to 8,000 separate recordings, most of them are names of...

Re: Lots of little files

Thank you for that advice da BaSsTaRd!

That looks like it will work perfectly for me and save a ton of time. I have a problem though. I don't see strip silence or identify silence on my edit menu....

Re: Anyone using a POD 2.0 (guitar) with their DIGI001?

I use the Pod Pro with the 001. It is a great tool for the money!!! Try using it as an effect for other tracks too. I record a miced acoustic then send it through the pod and back to an auxiliary...

Re: Which tool drives cursor exactly?

I guess I don't understand. Mice are Very accurate and precise. More so than the pens. I suspect your mouse is just dirty.

Make sure your mouse is very clean (take out the ball and clean the...

Re: Anyone using a POD 2.0 (guitar) with their DIGI001?

I have also heard great things about some of the other amp modelers like the Sansamp and Yamaha. I haven't tried the others. I love my Pod Pro.

Re: vocal mic & acoustic guitar mic: best for $400 each?

How about the Marshall mics? I am extremely happy with my V67. I don't have any experience with other large diaphragm condenser mics. Very inexpensive.

Re: 4 ohm monitors off an 8 ohm amp.

Thanks again John. I hooked it up and ran it for an hour or so at a reasonable volume. It's not even that warm. It sounds great. I also talked to a local guy I occasionally rent PA equipment from who...

Thanks a lot John, You have been a huge help. This was intended to be a temporary solution until I can afford the Mackie Active monitors that I really want. This is a digi 001 setup.

I bought this...

I thought lack of Tech Support was why you were leaving Digi.

Re: What can I expect?

You will need 256 mb Ram but you will be able to do everything Digi says you can without a glitch. mix 24 full audio tracks with plugins. record 8 at a time. More if you have any optical.

I have...

Re: Classical guitar in MONO?

That is what we needed, advice from someone who knows what they are talking about. I'm going to play around with that on my steel string. I think GuitarEasley needs a pair of decent studio mics...

Re: Computer Noise Solutions?

Re: Classical guitar in MONO?

I'm pretty new to this too but I think the one condenser is by far your best bet. Especially if is being recorded into one track (Mixed down to one channel). When you are micing stereo, and more so...

Re: Computer Noise Solutions?

Only Miked stuff. Other stuff is pristine super clean. You did the right thing. Perhaps I was exaggerating on being louder than 4 track hiss. And I have a particularly loud computer. I also have kind...
