Okay...thankfully its not the Firewire HD. I unplugged it and the "whine" remained. So i then went to the USB stuff...I currently have MBox plugged into the second USB port, and a Belkin hub plugged...

I checked my sync-mode, and it was "S/PDIF", but when I changed it to internal, the "whine" remained.

It is a lite-scream, and its only audible when I crank the volume on the MBOx headphone jack all the way up. Its barely audible in my monitors(Mbox>Behringer mixer>Alesis Amp>Event monitors) even...
