Meads has pointed out that I didn't make it clear which I/O I have. This is the analog 16X16 not the cheaper digital 16X16. Hope that helps. Thanx Meads!!!!:D

I've done research on the 2.66 and 3.0ghz models, the difference in speed is very small. It is not worth the extra $800.00. Take the $800.00 and buy your self some extra memory which will help you...

Thanks Chris for your response. I'm not doing any plug-in automation, just fader rides and mutes. I've upgraded all plug-ins. I have about 45 audio tracks, I don't go crazy with my plugins counts....

You need DA converter for the Adat lightpipe on the 002. You could use Focusrite OctoPre or Presonus DigiMax these are along the the lines of the AD already on your 002 now. If you want a step up...
