Forget Pro Tools, just the value of Beat Detective is more than that. Avid deserves to be paid monthly in the blood of cute little babies+subscription fees.

I propose that we all contribute to Avid a one time payment of $999 each for their troubles, and we should give them at least till 2028 for the next update--industry is fine with it; we can quantize...

Fair enough! With revenues of 400m+ a year.

Ableton 83m. Presonus is doing 39m approx. Steinberg 25m. And We don't even have ARA 2 for Melodyne yet. Lol.

At the very least, Avid needs to extend software update/support plans for free.

Please! Implement it like Cubase or Ableton. Random 2000, 8000 values don't make any sense. Change them to snapable semitone values. Thanks,

When I Option+Cmd or Control+Option+Cmd right click on a button or slider, it's not showing me the option to enable automation. Any clues?

Hopefully it's not mainly cosmetic stuff that's updated in Pro Tools 2021.

Oh boy! Nice. Hope we get drag and drop audio from timeline to VI, updated elastic audio algorithm, ARA 2 support, MIDI updates, no track limits!

Uh, you mean Plugin Alliance has been bought by Avid? :p

Hopefully Avid gets its act together. Otherwise, yes, Pro Tools would be better off acquired by some company that cares about music making.
