Just rolled back a 2019 iMac to Mojave. No T2 chip. Had to use a usb 2.0 drive. For some reason boot drive with a 3.0 was undetectable

Had similar problem. Macpro 1.1 10.6.8 HD2
Swapped out drive same problem lead me to believe problem wasn't s/ware.
Swapped out ram same problem. Bought new graphics card so far so good ........

fwiw. used to have that problem, early intel tower HD2. went from apc620 to apc 1500. has been booting flawlessly for over a year now.

thanks again for all the replies. operator error as it turns out. a routing issue, too embarrassing to detail. did get the heads up from the posts. no more gnashing of teeth or rending of garments.

thanks for all the replies, listen to bounced track, with itunes, also quicktime and another. theyre all bass heavy. will try suggestions by tonwurm and crizdee .....

hi,
seems to be a difference with the mix after bounce to disk. the bass and kick drum are much louder. have searched the forums, the topic has come up but seemingly with no resolution.
have heard...

hi,
sessions always open with mix window track list open as well, even though the session has been saved with track list closed.
have deleted prefs with pro tools app.
no big deal its only a mouse...

yes have tried that, launch gr2 without protools then > preferences (havent found a way to do that when its running as a plug in)
the computer is a 2.66 macpro 2gb ram osx 10.4.8 .....

guitar rig2 as protools hd 7.2.1 plugin unusable with crackles and pops. anyone had any luck with this, any suggestions? tec support at native instruments not very helpful

from the motu site go to support > midi timepiece av > downloads > midi osx drivers etc, you may have to sign in at some stage

have tried to automate the complexity and intensity parameters by click auto on strike > add those parameters in the plug in automation...

drive is a seagate cheetah ultra-2 ST39102LW
card is an atto ultra 2
BW g3 os 8.6 mix 24 plus
set up has been working perfectly for about 2 years. now for some reason the hard drive activity...

for what its worth, i have found that making the digi init load 1st (type a space in front of the name) makes a huge difference maybe 1 lock up in 12 - 15 boots.
