Re: OT: spdif optical - help!

This could well be a clocking issue. Make sure the output of your Rosetta is sending a 44.1 k audio signal to the Tascam. There's a very easy way to test this. Take your spdif out from the Rosetta...

Re: I think something is dying digi 001 or mac:HELP

This sounds like it could be a clocking issue . . . except for the chinese radio part.
Still it would be worth it to go up to Windows and go down to session setup. Check your sync mode
and make...

SD II FILES ARE STEREO INTERLEAVED BUT WAV ISNT??

Re: Bounce-to-disk / 24bit session / Dither?

Hey Gang,

I have had to deal with these issues many times.
If your session is 24 bit, you should ALWAYS dither the mix to 16 bits and then burn the 16 bit mix
to cd. This is most easily done by...

Re: using JAM to dither?

Re: Purchasing equipment... Help decide

The cost on these two items are very different from each other.

If your screen is dying, I'd say get the flat panel now, save the remainder of the money and get the Mackie in a couple months.

Re: Is PT 32 Beta working for you guys?

I won't say that there are no problems,
