I have a Deck I could play it on- but it does NOT have DBX.
So I could play it back on that deck, bring it into ProTools and mess with it there.
Certainly playing back on a deck that has DBX...

It was easy to convert with it- just open and save.

But I still dont' know whey PT12 can't do the same thing. Force the conversion sure, but...

I agree to convert.
What I don't understand, is since PT12 WILL convert them, why not keep the ability to open the old session, convert them and properly link them without spending huge amounts...

Nothing I've found in Youtube (so far) that did what I was trying to do.

Plus it seemed to work, just added some extra beats in about three places. But that screws it all up and I can't find a way...

When I double click the marker, it just opens a location- bars/beats (which is correct, bar 1, beat 2)
No way to enter in half the number shown on there.

I found it.

Avid 003 Family.app

It is in the 'Applications' folder.
I started PT 10 and the HW engine worked in that, so I could find the application that would run it.

I just figured it out.

In my I/O I couldn't add- but if I just hit 'default' they all showed up.
