Down memory lane... PT 3 had offline bounce, (at least when running native), but was crippled (PT4?) before the split between LE and HD (PT5?)... I imagine the reasoning was that LE couldn't have...

Try using the pencil tool. I have had varied success with redrawing, sometimes with perfect results, sometimes not...

Clicks are easy to find, mouth "crackle" shows up as a very uneven "spiky"...

Just in case there's a misunderstanding: 10.4.10 reads "ten.four.one" (not "ten.four.ten" as you may be assuming).

10.4.2 (ten.four.two) is thus a later version

Eric Seaberg: I have a lot of stereo reverb on the guitar from the POD (which is why I recorded it in stereo), so it's not cancelling totally...

I've just finished recording a bunch of guitar solos using a stereo track directly from POD2 L+R channels. The guitar sounds a lot fuller than going mono just from the POD's left channel...

True enough, but turning a knob with a thumb an finger in a circular movement is a lot more intuitive than trying to turn a virtual knob by moving a mouse... in circles?, up and down? sideways? don't...
