Muchias gracias to all - I resolved the issue by bouncing in 15min incriments, consolidating and then export as file....

My CPU is low...PT is the only app running -

I only have one Aux path running that is bypassed untill the very end
HW buffer is set to 1024
DAE is set to 4
Yes - printing would take forever...

So I got the unit - but now when I spit the DV movie out the firewire port my system is just dead as a doornail...what gives?

Problem solved: The digirewire plug-in was somehow moved out of the plug-ins folder.....eureka!

Dots in the channel window? my 002 is a rack so I don't think it has channel windows - I could be wrong.

I'm having a similar problem - the difference being that I am using a mac and the 'Play DV Movie out firewire Port' is greyed out. What gives?

So I assume the ADVC 100 goes both ways - as in DV to analog and analog to DV. Do you know the differece between the ADVC 100 and the DataVideo DAC-100 FireWire / 1394 Analog-to-Digital Video...

I'm using a 002 with PT 6 & OS X. I need to monitor video on a seperate viewer. I'm going nuts having to constantly move the quicktime movie. Is there a nice cheap way to come out of the 002...
