what OS are you on? after editing the plist, my m1 does not let me open the software anymore, "can't be opened", ppl say it's bc the codesigning is broken, not in your case? did you turn gatekeeper...

can confirm, the 1-slot gpu is weak, but the 5870 is still a little beefier than the 5770, is there a particular reason you run the 5770?

as suspected "playlists" was the key, I even managed to assign all current takes (from loop record) to new playlists, it mapped all 27 takes out nicely and I can scroll through them with "shift+arrow...

the "matching alternates" would be a nifty feature, if I would not have to bring up the menu each time, and could just scroll through the list with the arrow keys, and have the matching alternatives...

ah thanks! it almost solves my problem, but when I zoom out enough that both down arrows are visible, pro tools automatically refocuses zoom to the left down-arrow, even if I made it focus the right...

bringing up this old thread, turns out I have the same problem, I work a lot in cycle playback mode, and it would be nice to have a way for the "r/t" keys to not just focus their zooming on the left...

lance, have you compared the performance of the flashed gtx to a stock 5870/5770?

I have a flashed 680gtx around but last time I checked I had problems with it, it was slow with some animations,...

tried it out too, had some crashes duplicating tracks with uad plugs on it (mostly distressor) so, back to 12.8.3 to see if it fixes it

I know I know, it just seems this kind of lag is very consistent throughout all of OSX, I really notice it everywhere. logic can also be slow, and the finder and my mail app are super slow to display...

I recently tried PT 12.8.3 on bootcamp (same machine) and whoa, GUI just flies! meters are actually in time and snappy spiky, faster.

edits are lightning fast and holding keys for repeated action,...
