Yes, exactly, hence the suggestion to try enabling transport fade-in. I suspect there's nothing wrong here - starting/stopping on DC or long-wavelength/high excursion waveforms approaching DC will...

What happens if Transport Fade-In is enabled in the transport bar and set to, say, 100msec?
