Artist has an ASIO thing which works pretty well with other daws, but in my experience, Protools does not like it very much. Also, all it does is give you multi mon switching, no head phone mixing...

two different jobs I think.

LoAir is a subharmonic generator. Many people use it on their boom sends. It is basically a sweetener for LFE material and not neccessarily needed for the upmixing.

there is a feature called "coalesce clip gain to automation"

just like trim or vca's, this will combine the clip gains into your existing fader auto.

I have a similar gripe about EQuality which is one of my go to plugs. I think it sounds better than channel strip. But just because I need the path of least resistance, now I use EQuality to sculpt...

On both control and mix, I can adjust the hi and hi mids with out issues. They are on the same 1st page with LM and LO. Are you on latest firmware and 2.6.2 software?

Short answer is no, plug ins still map however they want. But there is one bit of good news

PT10's Channel Strip plug is mapped very well and a bit more sophisticated.

You only need to create one custom wheel command. Assign you desired left command.. then switch the drop down menu to Right and select your Right command.

This will be saved as a single command...
