Why does COMMIT track consolidate regions even when CONSOLIDATE is off?

Guys this is not a plugin or a usb issue.
The system has worked stable for months with the same configuration and the problems only started when the internet cut out

Actually I DID some reading. The threads are all about the M1, not the Air, which was my specific question.

And by “big” I mean at least 60-100 audio tracks with plugins on them.
