Re: Presonus FIREPOD / Unsupported buffer-size

128 samples at 48kHz sample rate, for random example, gives:

so x1000, gives:

2.6666667 milliseconds.

If it doesn't give you an option to put exactly two thirds of a...

Re: Automation EQ3 7-Band automation

EQ3 7-band is very transparent.

You can have the EQ insert enabled the whole time. No gain, no cut, no effect to signal should be expected.

Then, as BScout mentions, "automate the gain/level of...

Re: Compensate Input/Output Delay with external converters – not H/W Insert delay!

When my brain starts to notice events on the 30 samples order of time scale, I take that as a cue I forgot my meds that morning or I should go to sleep or consume less coffee. Literally, I have...

Re: Just finished mixing my first film and I have... questions!

Regarding question 3:

Imagine your "free" audio sample in scene 1 is 1.225 seconds long.
Imagine a "frame" is 1/30 of a second.

If your video scene 2 starts at frame 36, that's 1.2 seconds....

Re: New PT Prefs helper

I blame recent MacOS. I have seen that on my 12.x setup. Multiple apps, seems to go away after I load an app once or twice.

Re: Midi gurus out there...

If it's easier/possible to sing/hum the melody or notes you want to transcribe (at least to start off the work), that could be easier than playing for example a horn or string on a MIDI keyboard, and...

Perhaps, the pads are kind of hardwired to specific notes and your keyboard is ONLY one channel.

Perhaps, the pads can be...
