Bingo.

One sketchy font was causing the issue. Removed it and all notation functions are now working as they should. Reinserting the font causes the system to glitch out.

Just for the heck of it, I ran MacOSXUpdCombo10.5.8, trashed prefs, repaired permissions, restarted and tried new test session. Still only Xpand 2 in Plug-In folder.

Hi,

Here's my exact process since the last post.

Removed all plug-ins from Mac HD>Library>App Support>Digi>Plug-Ins except XPand 2.

Deleted PT Preferences, DigiSetup.OSX, etc with ProTools...

So I got my new 2.66 8-core set up.

24gB RAM. 3 x 1.5 tB drives. Lots of headroom. Eerily quiet.

Everything works, except Trilogy, which I knew about.
