wow, i just spoke with panasonic and they said set PT to 29.97 but I'm pretty sure they did'nt understand what I was asking.

So I guess I'll go with your recomendation and set PT to 30ND

Im going to record thru a mixer and into Pro Tools LE on my powerbook. This is because we have music feeds from a computer and mics also.

Any tips on the session settings I should use on the Pro...

apparently the ac3 encoding process "normalizes' the audio- where there are settings that can be applied which will do this to greater or lesser extent.

I have the Waves L2 on my master bus set to -8 threshold and -8 Out ceiling. Then on my dialog bus I watch to see the levels push right up to the L2 out ceiling. On the music buses, I watch to see...

On Mac, when you hook a synth to a midi interface, you have to go into the OS and configure it before you can use it in PT- or other apps.

Is this true in Win XP?

Thanks for the tips, so is there no advantage to 96k unless destined for DVD-A high rez?

Or does the downsample process ,if done right, yeild better results than audio that was not downsampled-...

Nudge after sub mix bounce?

I have 6 drum tracks that I am sub mixing (recording-bouncing) over to a stereo track.
