Digi001 compatiblability between mac and pc

I am thinking of getting a pc to run my dig001 on as I mainly use Logic on my mac..

is my digi001 (which was originally used in my mac) compatible with pc?

I had actually figured it out this morning... i was just missing the digi system init.. seems you dont need the rest... except DIO that is.

Hi all,

I've just done a full system re-install OSX/OS9. This time around however I didn't install protools. I just put the direct I/O (version 5.1.1) in the extensions folder... launched Logic...

If you go the PCI route I can recommend the Radeon 7000 mac by ATI. I've had mine for about 8 months now and it works great... you can even attach a TV to the card, so if you wanted, you could have...

Single coolest new feature for me is multiple outs on EXS24 and VSTi ....

now I can take all my drum kits from the exs and assign the individual parts to their own aux channels and effect each...

Well ... you could run a cable from the audio out of the mac to the monitor input of the 001 and use moniter mode.

At a guess I would say you are using a 5.0X version of PTLE and it doesn't have stereo audio tracks... how about that?!?

cane... I still use the 001 interface as I said... it works fine with logic and you still get the use of all the ins and out, including the midi port.

The new v.5 plugins are great,...

hi...

my setup is a mac G4/400 with 512mb Ram a Digi001 with the digi 5.1.1 I/O driver and the digi OMS midi driver for the 001's midi port.

I get pretty good performance out of it, I can run...

I have logic 5. It is fantastic. I changed over to logic a while ago, as I just wasn't happy with the limitations and poor efficiency of Protools LE.

I must say that Logic 5 is a great update, any...
