Re: VCA on MONITORS SC48????
I do it all the time... in fact I have a habit of changing VCA assignments from song to song.... I tend to use a few of them them for things I need to cue without snapshots... guitar in song #1, keys...

Re: Copying VCA assignments to other snapshots
Or.... just turn off the scope function for VCA on all snapshots.. you have them set the way you want them.
Right Sheldon. No need to recall them once they are set....

Re: PEQ or GEQ on vocals
I would like a bit of information. Is the band leader adjusting EQ levels for house as well as monitors? The next obvious question is .. Why?
Does he have some sort of "magic" hearing that...

Re: Profile as a monitor Board
Hello Wolvesandi,
Back when I was on earlier versions of the software here is how I did it in jus a few steps.
1. Take a 110 ohm "digital" XLR cable from AES 1-2 out to AES 1-2 in.

Digilink cables = WORST CONNECTOR EVER
Touring with these can be problematic. Watch out for the plastic tabs that release the small hooks. If they come off/out it can be very hard to get them...

Re: Question-- and opinions on routing and concept
Well, in the case of many BGV/soloist singers.. I would make a VCA for each of them for this one song. Then the worship leader can call off anybodys name he wants to for a solo and you have it on a...

Re: Screen Problem with brand new profile
I have had pushed pins on the panel mounted connector at the local rack before. I believe the lower case "m,n, and o" are the colors for the VGA at the connector. Check the pins.

Re: Question-- and opinions on routing and concept
Here are a couple of ways I would/could do it.
1. Write a snapshot to adjust the vocal for that part of that song only.
2. Run said vocal "post fade" to those mixes for this song/section only and...

Yes there is a way to do this. In "Options", under the "Busses" Tab, in the lower left hand corner, check the "AUX/Group follows AFL" button as well as the "AFL follows AUX/Groups". Make sure you...

Hey Jim, actually you do not have to do this. As a monitor guy I use VCA's for every song/snapshot. I have set the automation to change the VCA's to the necessary channels per song. Using the AUX...

Re: replacing drum sound with samples VENUE?
Why not put a trigger on the kick and snare and fire the samples from a sampler??? Roland TD-20 comes to mind. Alesis D-5 etc.... why over complicate your console?
