are you closing your session before quitting PT? if not, its guaranteed to freeze, at least with mine. Not a hitch when I close the session first tho.

aright! got it!
seems with the project mix MIDI THRU must NOT be enabled. which is funny because with the 1010LT I was losing sleep until I discovered the MIDI THRU had to be ON. hmm maybe not so...

you need to insert it on a track. INSERT > INSTRUMENT > CLICK

And if you want a click track that doesnt drive you mad, thats another story...

projectmix inputs

so I just picked up a projectmix, seems to be working seamlessly, just cant figure out how bring the inputs into protools m-powered. I'm also using a m-audio 1010LT, and its inputs are the only ones...

If you havent already, I might suggest adjusting the TOUCH TIMEOUT and the AUTOMATCH TIME, both which can be found under SETUP>AUTOMATION

who knows, it might just be the 1010LT, its only had one driver update since they've gone m-powered....
Pro Tools itself runs awesome, no hesitation. Just cant have the buffer any higher then 128...

It is pro-tools m-powered that tells me low-latency monitoring can only be enabled from the control panel (setup > hardware)
Perhaps it's just a remnant of the LE interface. But shouldn't all...

Anyone else find it frustrating that Pro Tools does not have a RENDER TO DISK feature? I understand there are quality issues when doing this, but even Sonic Foundry's ACID makes this option...
