It has caused a lot of downtime and trouble shooting. It’s a shame because everything worked fine before. I will probably have admit defeat and get rid of one of the units.

I got the problem again when using the new kd1 plugin. I think it’s programmed to utilise the higher bandwidth of the updated units. The support guy said they will be offering a thunderbolt upgrade...

Yes I had the Carbon checked in both carbon central and the Apple Audio Midi Setup>Network Device browser. You have to uncheck the unit in one or the other.
I found it in one of the Avid guides....

Thanks for the info. Ignore Errors During Playback/Record option was unchecked.
